Plastic degrades slowly and we are producing it at a rate where it is dangerous to the environment.
Project Proposal:
Pestalotiopsis Microspora is a fungus recently discovered by scientists at Yale University. It grows in rain forests and is a mold. This mold fungus spits out an enzyme that has the potential to degrade poly-urethane which is a chemical in plastic. In some environments pestalotiopsis microspora can grow on its own. with this fungus we could possibly have a efficient way to get rid of plastic pollution. to do this we would have to make a preservative spray out of the fungus. With this idea we are hoping to became millionaires or even billionaires.

With machines purchased that could mold the casings of each unit fungus, we can estimate if we sell our product at $19.99 a unit we can cover additional facilitation costs. The cost of shipping cyrogenically, meaning to decrease the chance of cell death by the time our product reaches the customer, is very expensive. As well as shipping across borders develops legal issues and customs. At first, we plan to ship to areas in the country to keep things simple. The cost of the development of our one unit prototype concluded to an estimate of $500.

Our project will be marketed to recycle centers, not to the public. A recycle center can request an amount to their need based on a request and payment options. At first our company will market only to those in the U.S. due to legal issues until we obtain enough money to expand our market internationally.
